Erasmus Mundus MESPOM 2026–2028Who Should Apply Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for MESPOM 2026–2028, applicants must:

  • Hold (or expect to hold before start) a Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years full-time) from a recognised institution.
  • Have a background in environmental studies, natural sciences, social sciences, law, economics, engineering or related fields. Applicants from other backgrounds may also be considered if they show commitment to environmental and sustainability issues.
  • Demonstrate good academic performance (many sources suggest a GPA 3.5/4.0 or equivalent).
  • Show proficiency in English (TOEFL/IELTS or equivalent, unless prior degree in English).

  • Scholarship application deadline: 7 January 2026 for all seeking the Erasmus Mundus scholarship grants.
  • Self-funding application deadlines (if you won’t apply for scholarship):
    • 15 April 2026 for non-EU/EEA students needing a visa
    • 15 July 2026 for EU/EEA students
